I served as chairman of the Senior Center in Livingston for several years and one day I ask the director what one thing she saw was different among those that attended the center. It did not take but a moment to respond as she stated, the people that come happy were the ones who parked a long distance from the front door and those in a usually poor mood parked as close to the door as possible. I ask her why that is and she stated it came from their outlook on life. ─Ron, THE PROCLAIMER, WILLOW AVENUE CHURCH, VOL. XLIIi ISSUE #38 September 17, 2023
